Being a man

Do you know why the sea is so vast, so great, so strong?  Because she has the humility to stay a few centimeters below all rivers.  She knows to accept it and feels itself growing.

If she wanted to be the first and far surpass the other rivers, she would only be an island.  All its substance will flow into the course lower water and it would become an isolated land.

Losing is part of life.

Falling is part of life.

Dying is a part of life.

It is impossible to lead an existence under the constant sign of satisfaction.  We must all learn to lose, to fall and to die.

It is impossible to win without knowing to lose.
