It's complicated

Another movie to add to my seen list.  From the movie title and the trailer, I had expected something much more than that; on the contrary it was very simple.  A divorced middle-age woman, Jane (Meryl Streep) having an affair with her ex-husband, Jake (Alec Baldwin), from which she got divorced 10 years ago and who's now married to a younger woman with whom he has little in common (actually the woman he was cheating on her with). At the same time, she's flirting with a new man, Adam (Steve Martin), an architect she hired to build additions and modify her house.  She's running a bakery shop/restaurant and has three grown up children.

The affair began when Jane and Jake visited New York for their son's college graduation.  They happened to be lodge in the same hotel, got drunk at the bar and BAM between the sheets. Jane is feeling a bit guilty because now she's being the other woman but quickly got reassured by her friends that she has the right to it as Jake is unhappy in his marriage. Well, I called this revenge.

I'm not saying that the movie is bad; not at all. It's not a romantic-romantic kind of movie but it's quite funny.  You'll have some good burst out laughs, especially in the scenes where John Krasinki (playing her future son-in-law) appears in.  This guy is great and funny, too bad that he's playing in that lame show called "The office" (what a waste!). Anyways, if you're looking for a movie to enjoy a good time, this will be cool.  It's not that predicable and will keep you guessing  how will the relationship goes.
