Relieved

I am more than relieved and feeling a lot better now that I've heard of my mom. I was so glad to hear her voice on the phone and to know that she was alright, with no physical injuries. She told me that the house she was living is not that damage but the situation is worst than what we may think.  As everybody else, she is sleeping in the street. My brother could make it and they are together now. I'm back home and feeling tired, like my body has been drained out; all I only want is sleep.

Je suis plus que soulagée et me sent beaucoup mieux maintenant que j'ai pu parler à ma mère. J'ai été tellement heureuse d'entendre sa voix au téléphone et de savoir qu'elle allait bien, sans aucune blessures physiques. Elle m'a dit que la maison qu'elle habitait n'a pas subi de gros dommages, mais la situation est pire que nous pouvons penser.  Comme tout le monde, elle dort dans la rue. Mon frère a pu arriver là-bas et ils sont ensemble maintenant. Je suis de retour chez moi et me sens fatiguée, comme si mon corps a été vidé; tout ce  je veux seulement c'est dormir.
